Federation Council Committee on Foreign Affairs supports setting up friendship groups with parliaments of Algeria, Nicaragua and Mozambique

The meeting was chaired by Chair of the Committee Grigory Karasin.


The Federation Council Committee on Foreign Affairs has supported establishing parliamentary friendship groups with the Council of the Nation of the Parliament of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria, the National Assembly of the Republic of Nicaragua, and the Assembly of the People's Republic of Mozambique.

The meeting was chaired by Chair of the Committee Grigory Karasin.

The groups are being set up at the instruction of the Federation Council leadership, Mr Karasin noted.

Deputy Chair of the Federation Council Committee on Defence and Security Yury Valyaev, First Deputy Chair of the Federation Council Committee on Constitutional Legislation and State Building Vladimir Poletayev, and Deputy Chair of the Federation Council Committee on the Budget and Financial Markets Mukharby Ulbashev are expected to head the respective parliamentary friendship groups.
