The Senator briefed the representatives of Australia, Argentina and Kazakhstan on election observation procedures and regulations.

Chair of the Federation Council Committee on Foreign Affairs Grigory Karasin held a meeting with international observers from Australia, Argentina and Kazakhstan at the Russian presidential election.

”The elections in the Russian Federation are of interest not only to Russian citizens, but also to the international community,“ Grigory Karasin stated.

”Through the Federation Council, invitations have been sent to individual foreign observers,“ the parliamentarian said.

Grigory Karasin pointed out that unfriendly countries towards Russia are conducting a campaign to discredit the Russian elections. However, Russian citizens living abroad are provided with an opportunity to vote.
